The 90-Day Business Plan Template Every Small Business Needs
A practical 90-day structure you can run weekly.
A useful 90-day plan has three targets: money (revenue or pipeline), delivery (speed or quality), and team/process (who does what). If a task does not help one of these three, park it.
The 90-day structure that works
Weeks 1–4: remove the biggest block. Weeks 5–8: tighten systems. Weeks 9–12: grow only what already works. Each week track a few numbers you trust — leads, closes, margin, cash. Fewer pivots, clearer work.
Simple checklist — Action Plans
- Pick one result for this week and one person who owns it.
- Track three numbers weekly: leads, closes, margin (or cash).
- Run one small test at a time; set a date to review it.
- Friday note: keep / fix / stop / next week.
Common mistake
In action plans work, people often change the plan every few days. Hold one money priority for a full week, then change only if the numbers say so.
Steady small steps beat a new big idea every Monday.
